The Conca de Barberà wine region is reawakening and producing a series of wines rooted in tradition. We visit a local winery that represents this movement and employs distinctive local grape varieties. We take a stroll around the fairy-tale settings of medieval Montblanc, allow time for a traditional lunch and head for the city of Tarragona. This seaside stronghold was once the capital of Roman Hispania Citerior province and has UNESCO heritage status.
